The Prisma features innovative technology as well as new design elements for those who demand the utmost in efficiency with the flare of Italian design. upper is constructed from an ultralight microfiber: extremely breathable. It features a mesh lining to increase air-flow to keep your feet cool and dry. A soft padded collar with additional clearance for the ankle offers freedom of movement without putting pressure on the sides of the foot. The anatomically designed padded external heel counter holds your foot securely preventing slipping of the heel in the shoe while the soft padded tongue prevents pressure on the forefoot. The toebox has been made a little taller to increase the volume without adding any additional width. Tthe RAM+VTR (Rotary Activated Monofilament + Variable Tension Regulator) closure system securely holds your foot without creating pressure points or hot spots. Unlike other monofilament closure systems, the RAM+VTR is activated by a lever as opposed to a dial, thus making the adjustment quicker and easier while allowing greater adjustability for fitting. Wire/monofilament closure systems adjust the entire upper, rather than just where the straps are attached. wire pulls through the closure system: conform as well to your forefoot as to the midfoot.
