(Nor is there a nylon last covered with a carbon weave to give the illusion of a carbon sole.) Sidi 100% carbon soles are designed with variable thickness to adjust stiffness as needed: thinner in the toe for comfort, thicker through forefoot for power transmission. Furthermore, a patented carbon fiber support grid inside of carbon sole creates continuous support. The 6.6 sole also features a toe insert and replaceable heel pad for walking.
